Very little is known about the life of ninja's when they go on holidays, but one thing is for sure: the danger never ends. This is a simple story very well put together created by Daniel Klug during his course at Animation Mentor in 2008. When only the eyes are visible you have to rely heavily on body language to convey intentions and emotions. I think Daniel has achieved this very well.

This piece took him 9 months to produce, using Maya 2009, MentalRay, and AfterEffects. And while that is a long time for a one person project, it really shows that it was time well spent, specially when you notice that despite the nice amount of detail, it doesn't have anything that's not needed to tell the story.
