This fan­tas­tic piece not only has bril­liant char­ac­ter act­ing, the con­cept is just mouth water­ing. Chem­i­cal ele­ments are chil­dren in a play­ground and unex­pected things hap­pen when they decide to play together. I can see this rolled out in a series: some are bul­lies, some are shy and incom­pat­i­ble with all the rest, some have a ‘volatile’ per­son­al­ity and some are harder than oth­ers. Who would be the teacher I won­der. Oxy­gen was pro­duced at the Rin­gling Col­lege of Art + Design by Christo­pher Hendryx’s as his the­sis for the depart­ment of Com­puter Animation.
