Surreal short animation about a man who's life echoes inside a box in his chest... ad infinitum. Yes, now I read that again it sounds like a dream Salvador Dalí may have had.

This blindingly creative and thoughtful short was created by Rebecca Sugar for her animation thesis at the School of Visual Arts, she is a freelance animator based in the NYC area. She also does illustration, paintings and comic books. The animation is the first part of a trilogy, followed by the shorts 'Cat' (Peyton Skyler) and 'Metamorphosis' (Mikhail Shraga).

There's something Spumko-esque about he character design and the boiling line but is not quite the same, her work is unique and the movements, the posing and the emotions are just spot on.
