At first I thought this was going to be a funny ironic animation about the nature of deadlines, but instead it turned out to be a wonderfully depicted paradox between two creators and their creations. Do you remember that engraving by Maurice Escher where a couple of hands are drawing each other? Well, this is pretty much like that and you'll see why. What starts like a familiar situation for any creative with a tight deadline, becomes a rather tense situation between two worlds trying to overcome each other.

The film was created by Andres Salaff on his second year film at Calarts. You may have seen Andres' work before when him and his classmates (Nicolas Athane, Meryl Franck, Alexis Liddell and Maïlys Vallade) at Les Gobelins created the short Garuda.
