On may 5th will be released the illusionist an animated movie from Sylvain Chomet (les triplettes de Belleville).
The plot revolves around a struggling illusionist who visits an isolated community and meets a young lady who is convinced that he is a real magician. The film is set in Scotland in the late 1950s. According to the director, “It’s not a romance, it’s more the relationship between a dad and a daughter.”” The story is based on an unproduced Jacques Tati’s script.

Here’s an interview with the author (unfortunately for you it’s in french), you’ll also see some scenes from the movie. It looks gorgeous and i definitely look forward to see it.
