When I saw this short, I was trying to figure out the animator's analogy, or if it was a metaphor (I'm certain it is) what was it for, and maybe it's just me but it seems to apply to many things. Society, mid-life crises, belonging, paranoia, trends, etc. It's either so clever it fits more than one concept, maybe it's so intelligent that it morphs to fit the viewers reality, or maybe it's the horoscope-effect, where no matter how you interpret it your brain makes it fit. Which ever is the true the short is great and both the audio and the visuals are pleasingly tactile.

This short film by animator Marius Si Pandele, recently received a mentioned in the Romanian animation festival Anim'Est.

"With a calmness that shatters the piano’s harmony, he ran his beeing through paint. His meticulous friend, the paintbrush, cut him a place in the setting while the notes were spasmodically beating. The perfect mimesis. Silence. But inside the sheltered interior there were more eyes than notes. Silence."
