The Cat Piano is a fan­tas­tic short film cre­ated by Aus­tralian ani­ma­tion stu­dio The People’s Repub­lic of Ani­ma­tion. Nar­rated by Nick Cave. Directed by Eddie White & Ari Gib­son. The film will pre­miere in Lon­don at the Rain­dance Film Fes­ti­val. It will also play at Ani­matu Inter­na­tional Dig­i­tal Ani­ma­tion Fes­ti­val, in Beja, Por­tu­gal, a fes­ti­val ded­i­cated solely to 2d and 3d ani­mated dig­i­tal films. And over in the beau­ti­fully pic­turesque Vil­nius, Lithua­nia, the film will screen in offi­cial com­pe­ti­tion at the Inter­na­tional Ani­ma­tion Fes­ti­val Tindirindis.
