I’ve been using After Effects for a while and it has always bothered me that there’s no easy way to know the size in pixels of a specific layer. Maybe it’s just me but I keep needing that information for one reason or another and you always have to come up with sneaky ways around it. I’ve asked other After Effects users and they all have a different system, although they’re all very clever, I think it’s kind of daft that the application doesn’t give you that information on the info window for example, like good old Photoshop does. So I wrote a little (very little) script to save me time in the future. It does what says on the tin.
